I successfully purchased the S30 Pro full eclipse edition yesterday and I can't wait to have it. Whole idea is to use the S30 Pro and S50 in tandem with each other either at different or the same objects if I ever have the time. Mainly though I'm excited about capturing larger objects easier than with the S50 magnification, which, I don't mind but I don't like it too much. #Seestar S30 Pro#

With regards to 4k capture in seestar, I wanted to hear your thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of the facility. My understanding is that if you export to siril It won't increase to 4k resolution.

I'm trying to understand what adjusting the magnification under the Framing command actually does. I assumed it was to zoom in to show more detail when imaging, yet the mosaic part which extends the fov then doesn't make sense. I'm dense! If I took an image of, say, M51 and not magnify it while taking the images, will I still get a crisp and detailed final image when I crop it?
