Can you imagine yourself leaning out of the window on the sixth floor at night watching not at the dark sky (it was amazingly clear) but down to earth... with you Seestar slowly falling down😱

I wish I never ever experience that.

The good thing is - it still works! Perfectly well as always! It fell (with a tripod and TH10 mounted) from roughly 20 meters and - by chance - into a heap of snow. After a bit of cleaning I turned it on, calibrated and started to image.

I bet no one ever did a crash test of Seestar, but it managed to survive one, so big thanks to the engineers of ZWO who made this great device.

I hope I am the only one to make it happen. This was actually due to my try of TH10: the tripod fell down when I was doing the first polar calibration - leaning the Seestar to point at North. For me it was the misleading instruction - it was not super clear that you have to lean the body over the north-facing leg of the tripod.

I would love Seestar guys to improve the instruction manual to avoid such heartbreaking accidents in the future.
