To frame IC 1396 in a meaningful way where both the Elephants Trunk and Mu Cephei are in the frame requires both framing over an unknown region (according to the atlas) while simultaneously using the LP filter (which only seems to happen automatically when viewing a known object). How do you achieve both of those? I can make framing work and the LP filter to work but am struggling to understand how to do both at the same time. I wish there was an "always on" option for the LP filter for situations like these.
