I've been having trouble getting long exposure times after the last update realizing that the Earth's magnetic pole is moving very fast I decided I should do a magnetic recalibration the best way I found probably the only way is in Alt azimuth mode.

I was down to using only 10 second exposures not understanding what's going on once I realized that the the internal level must be out I built a leveling board nice thick piece of flat wood with three screws that go through the wood in order to level the board on a flat hard surface with leveling bubbles. I put the seestar on it to recalibrate the level it showed me internal level was out by 8°, obviously that makes it really hard to set up 60 second exposures without trail Stars.

Last night I set it up and of course the clouds rolled in.

I still tried to get some 60 second exposures 4K in EQ mode. Even with the very poor seeing conditions I still got some amazing results that I couldn't get before without star trails.

My pictures show the leveler I built and some examples of the night's views 14-22 minutes of 60 second exposures 4k EQ mode on some targets last night.

I find it is so much easier to stack 15 or 20 photos than it is to stack 900 photos in the same time frame of exposures.

So stoked to get a clear night on some galaxies and nebulas in 60 second 4k EQ mode.

I hope this helps some of you out who we're having trouble with long exposures and set up.
