I used the ASIAIR go to to move to a target but I wanted to adjust the framing .
I reframed and then grabbed a couple of hours of data.
I want to revisit the target with the same framing.
How do I achieve this?
Thanks.
Matt
I have two ASI6200mm camera's, operated on linux via ZWOASI moduleGain 0, offset 50, binning 4x4, 200s dark :- gives 100000 hot pixels at vlaue 32370, - the other one gives 30000 pixels at around 40000In binning 2x2 the problem seems not present. At 30s dark does not have the problem either. As I am on linux, not sure how to proceed ? We have done the necessary power cycles (off power for 5m or so), it did not help
So I use a celestron 6se and a asi585 planatery camera I plug my asi into my Mac and also into the guide port in the celestron I then open up firecapture and press auto guide it will send commands I can see it at the top right but it won't actually do anything and when I press an arrow on my screen it won't move it's like it's not connected at all and I'm unsure why it detects it but does not do anything is it because I'm on a Mac or smth like that any solution would be greatly appreciated.
I've been shootig with a ZWO2600 Pro for the last year. Although I love the results and resolution of the camera, I'd really like to take a crack at narrow band Astropthotography without investing in another expensive AP camera, althogh I understand a monochorme mode would still require the filter sets and a filter wheel. Is it possible to design a duel functioning camera? I know my Nikon DSLR can do this, or is there an engineering issue that I'm missing? If the ZWO design team is reading these posts, I think ya'll might have a huge market that you are missing.
I bought a new ASI6200MM Pro this summer just before ZWO announced the release of the updated ASI6200MM Pro.Is my purchase one of the updated cameras? The serial number is 0e184a0c16020900.If not, can it be exchanged or replaced. Even for a fee? Thanks,Glenn Mitchell
Hello, i just bought a Asi 2600 mc air (it has the same connection of asi 2600 mc duo)with m54 filter drawer, m54m-m48f-2 adapter and m48-m48 16.5mm spacer. This is the scheme recommended by zwo and the only one to achieve a backfocus close to 55mm. This way you get to 56mm. When I want to shoot with only the UV-IR filter included with the 2600, what should I do? I don’t use any filters, so 56mm is too much, and there is no way to decrease bacfocus with the zwo equipment.
Hi all, I have a zwo 482 camera it's uncooled camera is it ok to take dark frames with slight different temperature change? Also is their any tips or tricks or hacks to keep the sensor the temperature so I can reuse the same darks? Would putting it in the fridge work?
I have been looking at the asi662mc for imaging planets using the drift method. Do you know what Barlow I should use with this scope and camera or avoid barlows altogether? If anyone has any better ideas let me know.
