Polaris & Interstellar DustSame camera & lens as in my last astro post (c4).Just under 9 hours of exposure reveal Polaris, the North Star, surrounded by faint interstellar dust.Polaris marks the celestial north pole — Earth’s axis points almost directly at it, making it a key star for navigation. The surrounding glow comes from dust in the Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN), faintly lit by the Milkyway.
