Hello everyone, fellow Seastar users! I’m reaching out to discuss the new EQ mode that ZWo has introduced for the Seastar. While it's an exciting addition, I find that achieving perfect polar alignment can be quite the challenge, especially with the Skywatcher wedge.

I've noticed that when the wedge's altitude is set to 0, the Seastar’s altitude adjusts to about halfway, which seems like a crucial point. However, pinpointing the most effective settings for altitude and azimuth feels somewhat random right now. I’m curious if anyone has found effective strategies or tricks for optimizing the setup, perhaps by setting the altitude and azimuth to 0 initially?

I really wish there were a more straightforward approach to polar alignment, as it tends to be quite time-consuming. If anyone has insights or techniques, particularly with the Skywatcher wedge, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
