I'm getting up there in years (67 this Sunday😊 ). I've loved astronomy since I was a kid. First telescope was a 4 inch Newtonian at age 10. It was pretty fancy. It had an EQ mount and even slow motion knobs. My dream some day was to get what we called at the time a "clock drive" so I wouldn't  need to always be turning knobs to keep the target in the eyepiece! Astrophotography was film only, so forget about it for someone like me! 😂

Fast forward to today where my 14 inch RC guides a digital camera perfectly and even focuses itself and automatically flips and reacquires the target after it passes the local meridian.

I take astrophotos now like I only saw in books back in the day!

What a marvelous time to be an amateur astronomer!
