August Monthly Challenge - Seestar

August targets: North: 1. Caldwell 1 - NGC 188 - Open Cluster 2. Caldwell 2 - NGC 40 - Bow Tie Nebula South: 1. Caldwell 77 - NGC 5128 - Centaurus A 2. Caldwell 80 - NGC 5139 - Omega Centauri Minimum integration: 1H, if more then better --------------------SWAGs, i have an idea. So with this new Caldwell Grand Slam we can do the following, if you agree and it's a good idea: we can choose, monthly, 2 targets from the North Hemisphere and 2 targets from South. Integration should not be that big, let's say 2 3 H per target. We are here, SWAGs regulars (@HAL-9000 @dropsofjupiter @XRaySpex @JRB48 @Daddy1 ) from different countries and hemispheres, so let's do this togheter. I think a combined workflow on this hard Badge will do wonders and we can help eachother achive it. What do you think?

SWAG July Extra Challenge - Pluto

SWAGs, Pluto is back and looks like it's ready to be catched 📸 I wanted to catch it last year but it was gone. Now is back. So why not an extra challenge for July. Try to catch it, i think is best to do it in Stargazing Mode with the stars (Solar System Mode is out of the question for the little fella). How is it in your region ? July Monthly Challenge - Seestar

Update 27.07: Dear SWAGs, this is the final update with the integration time for M20. We have a winner, we achieved 13H of integration data😳😱 @HAL-9000 achieved a fantastic 5.94H of integration time and we thank him for his dedication on this. Please find below final integration time and with this i declare this challenge complete so please download all the data and let's have fun with it. Also please remember to tag the final outcome with SWAG MONTHLY CHALLENGE and maybe add the Monthly Challenge Logo found on Google Drive as an PNG. Below also the file size of all the data. @XRaySpex @JRB48 @dropsofjupiter @HAL-9000 @Daddy1 , thank you all for this achievement and i hope you will have fun with it ! 1. Messier 20: Trifid Nebula - minimum targeted integration time: 10 Hours - current integration time: 12.96 Hours **current integration time will be updated here** 2. IC 4592 - The Blue Horsehead Nebula - minimum targeted integration time: 10 Hours - current integration time: 2.71 Hours This remains unachievable. Hard target and fainted details for S50. First idea for a group task / challenge

I saw this on a Facebook post: some guys formed a group (only Seestar users). It's a team work, everyone contributes for a monthly task on a target and everybody uploads on a Google Drive their linear files (not the stack ones, the individual ones, 10 sec, 20 sec, etc). From there they choose an integration limit to be reached, like 50H integration. The output of this is incredible, jaw dropping. So SWAGs, what do you think about it? Can we do it also? What to do, my ideas: - establish a secure Google Drive just for us - establish a monthy target - establish an integration time, for starters let say between 10 to max 15 H integration data. But remember, the more the better is the output - team uploads their linear files captured in individual folder - every member is free to get all the data posted, stack everything, postprocess it and post it under SWAG monthly challenge on their timeline What do you think? Please add ideas or improvements to this and please think if this is a good idea for a team work.

Flat Ground base Mount(image1)
