What's the minimum temperature allowed for using AsiAir?
Hello! ? I'd like to point out two issues I encountered in freezing temperatures: 1) The sheath and insulation of the power cable (from the outlet to the power supply) included with AsiAir breaks (bursts) in freezing temperatures from the slightest bend! This is extremely dangerous for the equipment and life-threatening for the astronomer, as the copper wires are exposed! 2) In "Live" mode (I've only noticed this in this mode so far), the WiFi spontaneously disconnects in freezing temperatures. It can't be reset with the "reset" button, but only by turning off AsiAir. It's likely that AsiAir itself is experienc ing an error in freezing temperatures, as I noticed no footage was saved for the 1.5 hours of shooting before the phone disconnected from AsiAir.

Is a Disconnect Alarm Possible?
I travel with my ASIAir and scope. Currently, I am in an RV park, a public place, with my setup. In the RV park, I set up my scope, go inside, and go to bed. Theft is always a fear I have figured out an option so if my iPad looses connection from the ASIAir WiFi an alarm goes off. It would be nice if there was an option within the app so that if it lost connection with the ASIAir an alarm goes off. Beyond theft, there are several reasons why someone might want to be notified of a disconnect. Just a thought.David

ASIAIR version 2.5 Beta is available on TestFlight app
Hello, I would notify that it has been release the asiair app for iOS on testflight app.I am now testing it on iPhone and Macbook Pro M1 with no issue so far.I have currently used polar alignment, plate solving, guiding, autorun, live, and manual focus, bluetooth connection to AM3 and wireless and wired conneciton to computer / phone.Everthing is ok so far!regards,Paolo

Hello, ASIAir iOS app v2.4.4 has been released. Why isn't anyone at zwo posting on Astroimg or the official zwo forum? A new version of the Asiair app has been released, and there's no official announcement from zwo. Is the asi 4400 mc pro a new camera? Could you please list the new features and changes in this new version?

Problem finding comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon in the AsiAir database. Need help.?
Today I encountered the following problem - I could not find comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon in the AsiAir telescope app! None of the filters integrated in the application did not show it in the list (recommended/Altituda/magnituda...).The question is probably to the ZWO staff - why is the comet search engine not working? (Although last night I was able to find it in the list, but also somewhere in the middle, (sorting by brightness) despite its brightness of ~7m. In the end I had to search for the comet manually in the already bright sky, driving the telescope along the constellation Lynx and making frames for 10 seconds.

2.4.2 official version problems?
Hello ZWO team, I am writing today to express my frustration about not being able to use my setup, which is almost entirely based on your products. I purchased my first ASIAIR in 2018. Today, my setup includes:• AM5 mount• ASI6200MC Pro camera• ASI174 Mini camera• ASIAIR Plus• ZWO guide scope• Rotator, filter wheel, EAF• iPhone 12 for control(and other accessories) This equipment represents more than €12,000, yet I can no longer use it properly:• my main camera, guide camera, and EAF systematically disconnect at startup,• I cannot even access the sub-menus,• I must unplug the rotator to successfully update the ASIAIR,• I can no longer rely on a truly “stable” version of the application. I already experienced issues with the ASI6200 over a year ago. At the time, you acknowledged the problem was on your side, but no solution was ever offered. Today, the situation is even worse: I can no longer use my setup at all. That being said, I still want to thank you. Thanks to your products, I first discovered automated image acquisition, autoguiding, reliable polar alignment, and stable focus throughout the night. I was able to capture beautiful images both at home and abroad, and that is largely thanks to you. Congratulations on these achievements, and thank you for the enjoyment I have had so far. However, I am exhausted from constantly having to submit logs, knowing it leads nowhere. Astrophotography used to be my passion, but it is now becoming a source of frustration, and I am losing the joy of practicing it. I do not necessarily expect an answer, but I am asking you at least to ensure that a “stable” version is truly stable. I sincerely hope your strategy is not to push customers toward buying new products (ASI2600 Air, AM5N, etc.) to replace hardware that is still high-performing. I am just a modest worker, and I do not plan to invest thousands of euros again. I simply wish to fully enjoy the equipment I already purchased from you. Please, at the very least, make sure the stable version is actually stable. Have you got any solution for me? May be should I roll back in another previous version and stop updating? Would it be possible for ASI air to have a practice mode, with a simulated camera, to enable a person to practice learning how to use the system?

Anyone using calibration frames in Live Mode on the ASIAir Mini?
I've created Darks, Flats, and Bias files in the Live Stacking section. I followed all the rules for matching temp, exposure, focus, etc. However, anytime I try to use them while capturing images in Live mode they don't come out right. If I enable the Dark checkbox for example, my images come out nearly 100% black. Even stretching the image reveals there's almost no data there at all. Any suggestions?

Asiair don't start when cold?
My Asiair pro no longer starts when it's cold. At room temperature, however, it runs perfectly. I have already replaced the power supply and all cables but without success. I also tried starting without connected devices such as EAF, heating tapes and camera but that doesn't work either. Maybe you as experts have an idea.

Asiair issues after recent update?
Asiair plus and old Asiair not connecting to camera, mount, EAF, SD card after recent Asiair update. I am able to connect to whole system via studio related desktop apps. Anybody having the same issue? Any suggestions?

eqm35 pro mount problems after asiair lost power and crashed?
so recently i was outside and i realised that my power supply was low but i still used it anyways but kidway through imaging my power supply gives out and it results in my asiair app crashing so ended up calling it quits, fast forward a few weeks i try to use it again and now my mount wont move at all. Even though it has a stable power supply and i can hear the internals activate showing it still works when i try and control it via asi air it just wont budge anyone know how i can fix this (for context i use asi air because i got my mount second hand and it didnt come with a hand controller) any help will be amazing
