As the year winds down and the nights grow longer, it's time for the S.W.A.G. family to stretch our imaginations and have a little fun! The November Challenge is all about creativity — this month, we're stepping outside the observatory and looking at the world around us in a brand-new way.

Your mission: find something that looks like a space object — anything that reminds you of a nebula, galaxy, planet, or other cosmic wonder — and post it! This is your chance to think outside the box and let those creative juices flow. Maybe it's a cloud that looks like the Horsehead Nebula, a puddle reflecting the night sky, or a swirl of coffee that resembles a spiral galaxy. Whether it's from your old portfolio or something you capture fresh this month, the goal is to have fun and see the universe in unexpected places!

This month's challenge will be cut short to give us time to judge all entries, so don't wait too long to post! Please have all entries posted by the 22nd of November. The winner will be featured in S.W.A.G. Comics Vol. 3, debuting the first week of December — so bring your best ideas to life and show us what you've got! Looking Ahead: December Plans

December is going to be a little different — and a lot more personal. As the end of the year approaches, many of us take time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the people who make our journeys meaningful. That's exactly what we're going to do in S.W.A.G.!

Instead of (or alongside) a photo challenge, we're planning a Zoom-based meet and greet — a chance to put faces to names, share a few laughs, and talk about where we want to take S.W.A.G. in the new year.

To make this happen, we'll need your help:

Share your availability — include your time window, country, and primary language.
We'll coordinate a time that works for as many of us as possible.
For our Spanish-speaking members, translation help is covered (thank you to our volunteer translator!). For Italian, French, German, and others, we'll explore tools like Google Translate or other creative solutions.

This will be a casual, fun get-together — a time to talk about our favorite captures, reflect on the incredible things we've accomplished this year, and dream up what's next for S.W.A.G. in 2026.

So, get out there and find your cosmic lookalikes — a nebula in a cup of coffee, a galaxy in a swirl of paint, or a constellation in a cluster of lights. Share your creativity, inspire others, and most of all, have fun with it!
