The Christmas Tree Cluster was named for its triangular shape, formed by a cluster of very young stars that looks like a tree in visible light. It is located in the northern part of NGC 2264, just above the Cone Nebula. It has an apparent magnitude of +3.9, so it may be faintly visible with the unaided eye from darker skies.

Contest Rules

Submission method: You need to check the topic of "Christmas Tree Cluster Photo Contest" when you submit entries in the App.
Score: 2 points for each like the work receives and 2 points for each time it is shared (The sharing link should be opened to get the points if you copy URL to share, and the daily sharing points limit is 30 points).
Winning Rules: All works will be ranked by scores (if a tie, Preference for earlier released work), with 1 star prize, 1 first prize, 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes. Each user has only one prize，If multiple works are submitted, the work with the highest score shall prevail.
Malicious scoring: In order to eliminate malicious behavior such as machine registration that hinders normal users, users who score maliciously will be disqualified from prizes.

Prize issue rules: After the contest, official customer service will contact the winners to issue prizes.
